Elizabeth Tippens, known by most as simply Tippens, is a freelance

stage manager based in Boston and Washington, D.C. She will graduate from Emerson College in Spring 2026 with a BFA in Stage and Production Management and a minor in History.
 

Her love for theatre began back in middle school, when she first dreamed of a life onstage; and now she gets to live that dream behind the scenes! Originally from McLean, Virginia, Elizabeth is excited to take her work on the road as she pursues touring theatre and continues to grow in her professional career.
 

She’s especially passionate about theatre education and creating work that connects with intergenerational audiences. When she’s not in rehearsal, you can usually find her curled up in the library with a good romance novel, baking a new cookie recipe, watching the latest superhero movie, or playing The Sims.
